| Call Waiting |
This features allows you to handle more than one call from a single line. A tone alerts you when a second call is coming in. To answer, press the receiver hook or flash button (if equipped). This will place the first call on hold and connect you with the second call. Repeat the same procedure to toggle between callers. This feature is activated at Vernon Telephone. |

| Call Waiting for Caller ID |

| Customer Originated Trace |
This feature allows you to record the number of the calling party. The normal use of this feature is for nuisance calls. To Activate: When you get a nuisance call, hang up and dial *57 then dial 1 and listen to the recording to see if the trace was successful. Note: the number you trace will be recorded at the telephone company. If you decide to follow up on the matter, please contact local authorities. A charge of $3.00 per call will be incurred for this service. |

| Conference Calling |
This feature allows multiple callers to connect at once during a scheduled time. An 800 number is assigned for calling parties to use at the scheduled conference for a designated period of time. | Distinctive Ring (Teen Line) |
This feature helps your present telephone do the work of two. It gives you two telephone numbers for one phone line. Each number has its own special ring. Each phone number may be listed in the directory. Distinctive Rings are typically used as a fax line. |

| Selective Call Acceptance |

| Telemarketing Blocking |
Calls from telemarketers are typically delivered to your phone as "unknown" or "out of area." This unique service intercepts these calls, and announces that you do not accept calls from telemarketers. The great thing is, your phone doesn't even ring. | Three Way Calling |
This feature allows three parties at three different locations to talk at once. This is ideal for business calls or for family and friends. This feature is activated at Vernon Telephone. To Use: Make your first phone call. Notify the party that you will be putting them on hold. Press the receiver hook or flash button. A confirmation tone is heard. Make your second call. When second call is answered, press the receiver hook or flash button. Both calls should connect automatically. Note: One incoming call can be conferenced to a second outgoing call. Two incoming calls will not work with this feature. If you have finished your conversation with the second call and want to continue with the first call, simply hang up the phone and it will ring back to you. |

| Voice Mail |
Voice Mail is similar to an answering machine, only there is no equipment. It has the ability to answer your calls if you do not answer or even if you are on the telephone. Your calls can be retrieved remotely from any telephone regardless of where you are. You have the ability to save or delete your messages. With voice mail, you also get the convenience of some of our call forwarding features.
ACCESSING YOUR VOICE MAIL:
1. Dial _ _ _ -MAIL (6245). (Insert your exchange prefix). All Viroqua customers must dial 638-6245. THEN either: - If using Auto Login and accessing from your home phone no entry requried, OR -Press # if calling from the phone your voice mail is subscribed to, OR -Enter your 10 digit telephone number, if calling from a remote phone.
2. If requested, Enter your password, followed by the # key. Your password will be your Vernon Telephone account number by default. To change your password, go to mailbox setup.
3. Main Menu: Press 1 to retrieve messages, Press 3 to send, Press 7 for current date and time, or Press 9 for mailbox setup, the first new message will play immediately. To Change or Record Your Greeting: 1) Press 1: Greeting Options 2) Press 2 : Re-Record You Greeting 3) Press # : End Recording Function
